Making babies for a living

I work at a women’s health technology company, and it’s simply the best. At 4 years old, we have the energy and innovation of a startup with all the wisdom and savvy of an established enterprise. We’re gone from one app to three, four employees to 35, one product to several, and one Beta baby to 1.7 million. 1.7 million babies!

I wasn’t here for most of it, but hey, here I am now. I joined Ovuline in February to work with Ovia Media, a team that handles all of the advertising on our apps: Ovia Fertility, Ovia Pregnancy, and now (as of this month) Ovia Parenting. I design ad campaigns for partners, write copy for branded content, and work to optimize the in-app experience for users and advertisers. It’s really great. I also get to do other things when ads aren’t coming in, like writing content for the app, helping out with copyediting, brainstorming for the blog, etc. It’s incredible to be in an environment that encourages you to do every single thing that you’re good at, plus a few things you’re learning.

Even in the short time that I’ve been at this company, we’ve seen massive growth. We went from 3 million users to 5 million, added the Ovia Parenting app, rebranded from Ovuline to Ovia Health, and raised $10 million in funding!

Working at Ovia Health (it’s so fun to say the new name!) has been an absolute dream, and it’s incredible to see the impact we’re making through data that we’ve collected. Look at this insane infographic!

Cheers to the next million Ovia babies!
