This one has easily been twice as long as usual, but it’s been for the best of reasons. I went to my regular classes, found out that I’d been offered a teaching assistant position for Magazine Editing, got a summer job as a performer in MU’s Summer Welcome Wellness Skits, had an interview to be a counselor for a leadership retreat I participated in last year, saw Piper Kerman speak about prison reform, went to a Social Justice Seder, and was selected to be a site leader for a women’s advocacy trip through Mizzou Alternative Breaks. This all happened between two Fridays. The best way I could sum it up is to say that I’m excited, overwhelmed, and looking forward to next semester.
